Premiere Pro

Its finally done!  I am very proud of how it turned out.  After long drawn out battles with Premiere I have won.  I brought my video into Mr. Sims to watch today, and he liked it.  Such a feeling of accomplishment.  Also I was able to have an easier time with my video for my other class.  Maybe it wasn’t as difficulty because it wasn’t a feature film, or maybe it was because I finally figured out Premiere.  After many watched tutorials first. 🙂  Its now the end of the semester which comes with a sense of relief.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone else’s videos next Thursday.  And to relax and enjoy the holidays!

Shooting a Scary Movie

So overall I believe the shooting day was a success.  As always when writing a script there are always rewrites.  You just have to take it one step at a time.  I was a little unsure on how to light a scary movie, obviously i want the mood to be a little dark.  I believe  that i will be able to to create the look i want in Premier.  With a few color changes and perhaps a few added effects.  There might have to be one reshoot on my end scene because my actor was getting a little cranky.  It was past her bedtime.  HoweverI am really happy with how everything turned out.  All of my people are troopers.  Even if the movie isn’t super creepy or scary, it was a learning experience.  I will know more about what I have once i get everything into the program.  ALso I will be using a new program so fingers crossed everything will go right 🙂

V- Day!

Today everyones interviews were due.  I mostly impressed with how all of them turned out.  I was extremely pleased to see how the one done on me turned out.  I loved all the use of my photos in the video.  The music also helped to keep it upbeat.  Glad I didn’t look too foolish.

I was pleased how my interview video turned out.  At first I wasn’t sure where to start on editing, there was so much footage.  Eventually I narrowed it down and found some really good footage.  Once I could hear the audio it was pretty easy to put the images and B-roll together.

Overall I was pleased with everyone else’s.  There were a few videos where I actually enjoyed and found out a few new things on my classmates.  I really enjoyed this assignment.
